Love the texture of the peeling paint. I don't suppose the prisoners who were behind those doors found them any better than this, in their minds at least.

It is amazing how much these cell doors have deteriorated. They make a great subject. One would wonder how many men were housed inside this cell over the years.

It's amazing that the cell is still intact with all that rust and peeling paint! Great textures captured here! Thank goodness the "contents" don't contain any skeletal remains. ;-)
