Neet Bridge

Posted by Harry (Apex, NC, United States) on 28 November 2014 in Landscape & Rural.

This was one of the bridges not open to traffic. The warning "Cross this bridge at a walk" is directed at horse riders, as the as the hard, heavy hoofbeats of a galloping horse could damage the wooden flooring.

I like this angle because the interior structure shows up pretty well.

Welcome to all. I began blogging Retained-Images in 2004 at My-Expressions.com. It is gone now.

Looks like a perfect bridge to walk slowly across.

I too like to see the interior structure of the covered bridge. The sign is interesting and would hope riders respect its direction. A fine shot.
