Waiting for growth

I'm pretty sure this is a recently planted field of tobacco, a fairly common agricultural product in North Carolina.

@Helene: Tobacco plants do produce small white flowers, but the crop is grown for the leaves, used primarily for cigarettes.

The newly planted field makes a fine country landscape. I've never seen growing tobacco, so this is my "before" shot! :-)
