Long wagon

I took this infrared shot between some barns at Pinecrest Village, and deliberately softened it a bit for a more romantic image. I am a bit puzzled by the technology of it though. Clearly it is a horse drawn wagon, yet there appears to be a drive shaft beneath the bed, which would normally be used to transmit turning energy (torque) from the engine to the rear wheels. Hmm, curious.

I like the exposure and processing that gave the image a softer look. Strange drive shaft. Very good shot, Harry.

The whole image has the effect of Time standing still . . and I love the propulsion mystery part !

Maybe it is an "ámbidextrous" wagon - open to both options. An interesting one.
