Work boots - B&W

These boots were displayed in a bunkhouse to illustrate the lifestyle of an 1890s forestry worker. Even as I took the photo, I was anticipating processing it to B&W. But it turns out I like the color version as well, so I will display this same shot in color tomorrow.

The black and white version is very effective. I like the range of grays and details on the boats. It will be interesting to compare the two.
