1957 Lincoln Premiere

You can see the "PREM...." featured in yesterday's post at almost the center of this shot. I first thought this was a 1958 because of the double headlights, but when I looked at photos, the 1958's had angled headlights instead of straight up and down. The first few photos of 1957's that I found had single headlights like I thought. Then I stumbled across some photos of the 1957 Premiere, and I had a match.

This might have been the newest car in the field.

Strange to think of the lifestyle of the that went with this . . it had me looking at the Wiki page for 1957 which carries this item : "June 15 – A brand new 1957 Plymouth Belvedere is buried in a time capsule (to be opened 50 years later on June 15, 2007)."
