Cotton boll

Across the road from the abandoned farmhouse was a huge field of cotton, looking ready to be picked. The whole field was impressive, but I chose to feature a single boll.

I like your decision to capture a single cotton boll as opposed to a field of cotton. I don't think i've seen a close up in a long time. This ia fine, detailed picture.
