This car was abandoned in a field, but it appears the sheet-metal was placed to protect the enginne compartment,

Beautiful B&W and superb framing .It is strange to put a sheet steel and not to drag the car, the engine is going to rust all the same .

Wonderful. Looks like it was abandoned by Al Capone after a shootout and police chase. Or any one of endless possibilities.

A fine picture of this novel way to protect the engine compartment. It's a bit crude, but it does look effective. A fine subject to shot.

Love the B&W - interesting that they wanted to protect the engine.

Looks like he ran into something and just left the car there to rot. Nice capture.
