Rusty B&W door

Posted by
Harry (Apex, NC, United States) on 5 November 2016 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

There was a former power plant that was open for some kind of virtual reality seminar or something. We wandered in and looked at some of their sales material, and a couple of us tried on the virtually reality goggles. No one objected when we opened our tripods and began shooting the old industrial shapes.

It was hard to resist converting this to black and white, but the rust was so lovely.

Always something interesting to look at in old factories. The detail and the color on this door is excellent and well worth the shot.

It's a fine subject. I'm glad you left this one in color. A second black and white version would be interesting. A fine photo.
