Silent piano

This degraded player piano was left in a narrow hall between the front entrance and the kitchen area. In my first visit to this house, I set up my tripod poorly and clipped the nearest foot of the piano. So I went back and took this shot.

Great image of the piano and superb composition . It is distressing to see quite degraded like that.

Looks like Jerry Lee Lewis might have had a foot stomping time here :)

Outstanding image! The details and decay combined create great atmosphere.

This is a mystery. Not only do they abandon a piano (several pianos from what I see in their pictures)... Not only do they abandon a piano, but it also moves inside the house. ?!?!?!??

This image is sadder than the previous one. And it is very well taken.

A fine picture of this old piano. I guess it's easy to guess why it was left. It's a huge, heavy piano.

How majestic it must have been in it's day! The surrounding area really adds to the whole image.

Your low PoV creates a grand presence for this piano in this room.
