Swimming ducks

These ducks are swimming to keep their feet warm. The air was about 18 degrees F (which I think is minus 8 or 9 C). My feet and hands were in pain.

@Mhelene: it is tidal marsh on the coast of Virginia. two days before, it was probably 50 degrees F.
