Abandoned farm wagon

Posted by
Harry (Apex, NC, United States) on 23 May 2017 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

The metal wheels and frame carried a wooden tank (mostly rotted) and the front looked like it might some kind of sprayer. So at one time, this might have been used for fertilizer or insect control - the tank does not seem large ehough to be useful for irrigation.

Another really interesting scene which is screaming out for HDR treatment :-)

@Curly: Curly - you and I have different views of "HDR." Both the rusty Volkswagen and this old wagon are 3-shot HDR's (plus-2, metered, minus-2) processed in NIK HDR Fx. I prefer my HDRs on the realistic side, leaving the viewer to wonder "HDR or not?"

Good find, vintage tones suits well to the subject.

Wonderful find. Too bad it wasn't found earlier and put in a museum. It is a witness to how things were done before our more modern methods.

I'm going more down the "natural" root too these days, although I've recently posted two mad one! I'm hoping that perhaps I might see the same reactions over the next week or so.
