If you look closely, you can see a teen hunkered up against the far pilling with a fishing pole,

Works well though it didn't ought to with that prominant diagonal taking the eye to the horizontal out of the frame. Looked for a while and the strong vertical with the person stops the eye and compliments the verticals of the yachts

@grouser: the first rule of composition: "there are no rules." I agree that this image does not follow the hackneyed guidelines repeated in every web site, but it is equally possible to include leading lines, rule of thirds, natural framing, etc. stc. and end up with a boring photo.
