Right work boot

I rescued this dusty old boot from a pile of refuse. It's mate might still be buried there. I am pretty sure the iron bar on the rope is a sash weight, used in old windows to create balance so the window could be partially opened and remain there.

SONY SLT-A77V 16/5 second F/11.0 ISO 400 60 mm (35mm equiv.)

the blue wall behind the boot is fantastic

i've never seen a boot rot in such an interesting fashion around the ankle

i did however stumble across a boot on one occasion in an abandoned structure
