This radio is a 1938 model according to a card taped to the shelf that I clumsily cloned out. How times have changed.

SONY SLT-A77V 1/25 second F/7.1 ISO 1600 36 mm (35mm equiv.)

What a great old radio. I remember a similar radio in my grandpa's den. We'd play with the tuner all night long and get static, staticy music, and more static. But we were mesmerized.

A great shot to remind us those early days of limited radios. I had one that was battery driven...not very long, it ran down quickly.
