Cabin/barn in the woods

We were talking to the owner of this land. They now live in a modern ranch style house higher up the hill. She said that when first married, she & her husband lived here. Since then they have leased it as a residence, have raised chickens in it, and now use it for storage. They are considering renovation.

This old barn has been a valuable residence and served since in a number of important roles. A fine picture of it. I can't imagine is overhauled.
