Our hotels in Sweden had wonderful breakfasts, so many afternoons we only had an ice cream cone for lunch. This sign indicated ice cream was available, and it was a trademark of one of the two main brands. Our Swedish friend said that "ice cream" in Swedish is "glass," so GLACE is sort of a branded variation, perhaps like "slurpy" or "icy."
