This windmill was right next to the covered bridge and across the stream and down a bit from the mill, so I don't know what it was used for.

I'm wondering what the tank is for. Surely they didn't fill that with water, did they? And with a running stream nearby, why the wind mill. Ah, the questions one wishes to be answered.
