This windmill was right next to the covered bridge and across the stream and down a bit from the mill, so I don't know what it was used for.

I'm wondering what the tank is for. Surely they didn't fill that with water, did they? And with a running stream nearby, why the wind mill. Ah, the questions one wishes to be answered.

It's quite tall, isn't it .... but it's height allowed for you to capture it's fan blades against that lovely sky.
