A view looking from the opposite end of the street. You can see Lee's Grocery was formerly Bradley Supply Store, but is now an empty shell.

@grouser: It started a long time before Amazon. The interstate Highway system and improved communications (computers) led to nationwide chains (Walmart) and so on.
