I went with a group to historic Oakwood cemetery in downtown Raleigh, NC. We had a tour by an executive who told us a bit of the history and pointed out some of the famous and historic graves and memorials. But there was a little time to take some photos, too. I am sure "Jolly" is a family name, but I couldn't resist the irony.

I like these simple headstones that are more reminiscent of a military cemetery than a family cemetery. Thank you for the explanatory note

That is ironic. I actually know a family named Jolly. Never thought how that name would look on a gravestone, however.
