Skull branch

Posted by
Harry (Apex, NC, United States) on 26 February 2020 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

The fallen tree had been down long enough that the bark had weathered off and the grain had strengthened and cracked. The missing branch forms an interesting eye-socket at just the right spot.
