Temple of Deliverance

This warehouse-like structure has been converted to a higher purpose. I have always believed that that fancy churches with with golden fixtures and towering spires are built more to the glory of the builders than to the glory of God. " For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20

I intentionally included a lot of the vacant parking lot because I liked the cracks and the texture.

I think you are right that those huge churches have been built for completely different reasons than to bring comfort to the people. History says a lot about the subject.

I want to go to this temple. ;-) An impressive 'announcement' for a place that seems rather neglected, right?
Great picture!

it's a poor temple ! I like this atmosphere, the shadows and the texture of the ground !

Yes, cracks are well seen for the idea of decay in general. But to be delivered, you will have to come back another time .... !

I once attended a church meeting in a warehouse. I tend to agree about all of the unnecessary ornamentation. I like this rustic view.

Beautiful tones and textures with no distractions in that clear sky! I bet when the roll-down shutters are lifted, it's very inviting. I've seen many converted storefronts in my day.

I agree that it does not take the building to have God in your presence. There are lotta very common small churches Better places of worship.
