This one room (with a loft) home was hand built by a fisherman who raised his family and docked his boat here. He completed it on his return from Word War II. His daughter still owns the property, though she lives in a more modern house across the street. She maintains the house in its original configuration and has filled it with mementos of her family and the fishing industry of that era. She spent a half hour with us telling tales of hand knotted nets with manually carved floats, and of rowing out to bring her father lunch as he fished.
